Bedazzling Workshop

Last year Yuki Chorney, aka the “Boston Unicorn,” brought her bedazzling skills to Women Run NH. Although Yuki is unable to join us this year, we plan to run four bedazzling workshops at our event this summer. We took some notes last year, and we will have some expert bedazzlers on site throughout the day. We will provide all the supplies. Bring a small personal item with you if you wish to participate. 


NH Elite Panel

Corey Dowe

Corey Dowe is a member of the 2022 US Mountain Racing Championship Team which took home a bronze medal from the World Mountain Racing Championships in Thailand. Corey is a graduate of Coe-Brown Academy and Cornell University. She lives and trains in the White Mountains.

We are excited to welcome Corey to our event in August. Come hear about her journey to Thailand to take on the World Mountain Racing Championships and her experiences as a small town NH runner. She will also be on our NH Elite Panel.


A Mind for the Miles: Mental Skills for High Performance in Distance Running.

Dr. Stephen P. Gonzalez PHD, CMPC

We are very fortunate to welcome back Dr. Stephen P. Gonzalez: CMPC and Assistant Athletics Director for Leadership of Mental Performance at Dartmouth College. Dr. Gonzalez has supported our event since the beginning, and his talks on mastering the mental approach to training and racing have been a staple of the education we hope to offer coaches and athletes. His sessions are in high demand, and we are so grateful for his continued support.

Dr. Gonzalez will offer 2 sessions on developing mental skills for high performance in distance running. Set yourself up for success this season with his tips.

Shira Evans

Shira Evans, MS, RD, CSSD, LD is an expert in the fields of sports nutrition, REDs, disordered eating, and eating disorder care. She is the owner of Shira Evans Nutrition LLC and excited to offer virtual nutrition counseling services to athletes for sports nutrition, and the treatment of REDs, disordered eating, and eating disorders in multiple states!
Shira started her career working in higher levels of care for eating disorders, supporting clients of all diverse backgrounds and working in a multidisciplinary fashion. Simultaneously, she ventured into private practice to support athletes, providing 1:1 nutrition counseling to optimize their performance. She has many years of experience working as a sports dietitian in Division-I athletics, most recently serving as the Director of Sports Nutrition at UNC Chapel Hill and prior to that working in a similar capacity at Dartmouth College.

Shira is a competitive runner and she enjoys cycling. She has cycled across the United States twice, to support affordable housing initiatives.


Dr. Hillary Cauthen

Dr. Hillary Cauthen is a clinical sport psychologist based in Austin TX. Hillary was a division 1 college track athlete, before embarking on a career focusing on the mental health and mental performance dimensions of high performers. She studied and competed at the University of New Hampshire, and Miami, Ohio, before completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, in Los Angeles.

Dr. Cauthen is the Founder of Texas Optimal Performance & Psychological Services. Formerly served as the Director of Organizational Wellness & Performance for Austin FC and the performance psychologist for the San Antonio Spurs, where she developed their mental performance and wellness programs. Dr. Cauthen has developed private businesses that bring mental wellness curriculum to school districts across the nation, as well as an analytics company that helps predict the behavioral risk factors in players for teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and Premier League. Her work with high performance is breaking down stigma across communities which is highlighted in her book, “Hello Trauma, Our Invisible Teammate.”

In our journey to becoming champions, leading champions, and wining championships one must remember that a culture of care is the ultimate catalyst for success, fostering resilience, trust, and innovation. Dr. Cauthen will highlight the essence of building a successful culture to meet the demands of the climate of the players involved. Her talk will discuss empathetic engagement, accountability, and fostering life skills to reduce mental illness and enhance mental wellness.
